Who protects the worker?
Private homes are workplaces. But what happens when the systems surrounding domestic work are designed primarily around protecting the people who hire, manage, or place workers?
Safety & Autonomy Standards™ is collecting firsthand experiences from domestic workers to better understand what actually happens inside private-home employment—and what workers need to feel safe, respected, informed, and able to advocate for themselves.
We want to hear from you.
Nannies. Newborn care specialists. Postpartum doulas. Family assistants. Caregivers. House managers. Personal assistants. Housekeepers. Private chefs. Senior and disability caregivers. And other domestic workers.
Whether you were hired directly or through an agency, recruiter, or platform, your experience can help us understand the bigger picture.

You do not need to know whether something was illegal. You do not need to call your experience abuse. You do not need a perfect story or a particular outcome.
