I’m building something, and I’m building it independently.

Just Brit, Thanks is a growing body of creative, research, and community work.

Some of it is funded through traditional work. Some of it is supported by people who believe in what I'm making.

And some of it exists because I decided that if the usual paths weren't going to make room for me to work in peace, I would make another path.

That is what this page is for.

Frost & Sip began in Chicago, as a small gathering rooted in creativity, good food, conversation, and community.

I want to take it beyond Chicago.

Your support helps make that possible: gathering materials, creating beautiful spaces, feeding people, traveling, and bringing caregivers together in cities where they deserve a little room to connect, exhale, and make something.

So far, Satin Ice has agreed to donate fondant and cake tools to help take the project even further!

Commission the Art

I am also making room for my art to support me.

I create paintings and embroidery that are personal, playful, and made to be lived with. I'm especially interested in creating work for children and the people who love them.

Children's Portraiture

I paint portraits of children from photographs, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that capture a particular expression, personality, or moment in time.

Hand Embroidery

I embroider children's clothing and textiles, including jackets, shirts, sweatshirts, dresses, and other pieces that can become something uniquely theirs. I also occasionally take adult commissions; Jean jackets, Sweatshirts/hoodies, and portraiture.

Names, initials, words, little illustrations, and other details can turn an ordinary garment into something personal.

Commission details, pricing, available options, and current openings will be live through Ko-fi.
