Frost&Sip

Caregiver Cohort Pilot

A small-group gathering for caregivers to connect, slow down, and share the realities of care work.

Frost & Sip brings caregivers together across roles and experiences for conversation, connection, food, drinks, and optional creative activities.

These gatherings create space to talk about the work we do, the emotional labor it requires, and what caregivers need to feel supported and sustainable in their work.

What we learn together helps shape future Frost & Sip gatherings and contributes to the ongoing development of the Safety & Autonomy Standards™, turning lived experience into clearer, more sustainable conditions for care work.

Why This Matters

Caregiving work can be deeply meaningful, and deeply isolating.

Frost & Sip creates a place to pause, connect with other caregivers, and talk about the realities of the work with people who understand it.

Sometimes that means sharing experiences. Sometimes it means gaining perspective. Sometimes it simply means having a few hours where you don't have to be the one taking care of everyone else.

The gathering itself matters. So does what we learn from being together.

Help Frost & Sip Go Beyond Chicago

Frost & Sip started in Chicago. Now, I'd like to bring that same sense of connection and community to caregivers in other pilot locations.

Support helps make it possible to create more small, welcoming gatherings; with the materials, space, and practical support that allow caregivers to show up and participate.

If you'd like to see Frost & Sip in more communities, you can help make that expansion possible.
